Since today is my birthday, I will share some random facts with you:

I was born in Zaragoza (Spain), at the crossroads between the cities of Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, and Valencia.
My immediate family comes from Castilla y León and Extremadura, and it is essentially of Iberian origin.
However, I am also of Sephardic Jewish descent (and identify as a Jew).
I grew up in Galicia and Catalonia, which allowed me to learn Galician and Catalan.
Unfortunately, I did not retain Galician; but I adopted Catalan as my mother tongue, along with Spanish.
Learning English as a second language prompted me to study for a degree in Translation.
Additionally, I have studied the following languages in the past: French, German, Hebrew, Italian, and Russian.
At present, I am learning Portuguese. I began with Rosetta Stone and continue to study/practice it, thanks to Duolingo.
As a writer and translator, I work exclusively with Catalan, English, and Spanish.
I have been living in the United States for the last six years — and have become a US citizen.
Utah has been my home for the last three years.
Before moving in 2019 to Salt Lake City, Utah, I lived in Chicago, Illinois.
Aside from Utah and Illinois, to this day, I have visited the following US states: California, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
I will be in Denver, Colorado, for the 2022 AMWA Annual Conference in the fall.
Speaking of conferences, I will also attend the ATA 63rd Annual Conference in Los Angeles, California.
Traveling for work is great but doing it for pleasure is better. That is why I look forward to my summer vacation in Toronto (Canada).
These are other countries I have visited in the past: Andorra, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Portugal, and The Vatican.
If we added airport layovers, Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey would also count.
I specialize in texts about imaging and radiology, and my main area of interest is materials related to imaging devices and radiopharmaceuticals.
